Eastleigh College in Partnership with Business
At Eastleigh College we recognise that businesses require a training provider who can combine quality, relevant training with flexibility and an understanding of their specific skills needs.
The college currently works with over 850 employers delivering more than 1,500 programmes for training and assessment. We are one of only four general further education colleges in the UK and the only one in Hampshire that has been awarded Beacon Status by the Department For Education and Skills for its involvement, understanding and focus in delivering employer training needs.
The college offers a broad range of cost-effective, appropriate training solutions, and can design and create tailor-made courses specific to an individual company’s needs. This training can be structured and delivered at a time and location convenient to the business, even if it’s during a shift change at 3am! Eastleigh College also supports businesses by providing 'on-site assessment' and distance learning, minimising the time an employee is away from the workplace.
Skills areas that the college offers include; Building Services, Construction, Engineering, Retail & Warehousing, Business Improvement Techniques & Manufacturing Operations, Accounting, Management, Marketing, Business Admin and Customer Services, Professional Catering, Motor Vehicle, IT, Care and related vocations.
