College has a specialist training facility
for marine students and apprenticeships,
located in Woolston. The facility combines
workshops and learning resource centres to
help students make the most of practical
and theoretical training.
City College specialises in the provision of work related training and vocational qualifications for individuals and employers in Southampton and south Hampshire.
The college also works closely with local businesses and has worked with over 600 employers in the past year to provide training to meet skills shortages, new industry legislation and requirements of specific project teams.
City College has already invested £7m in new learning facilities and a further £16m will be invested over the next three years.
